No Curling this coming Saturday, November 15^th.

There is curling November 22.

We are taking the Thanksgiving weekend off so no curling November 29^th.

There is also a conflict at the arena on December 6^th so no curling on that date either.

Then there will be curling December 13^th, 20^th, and 27^th.

Sorry for the late notice but I have to attend a Wedding this Saturday. I would choose Curling but don't need the friction at home. Our team is already one person short and I believe Eric H. is busy. So please help out Bob B.

Curling This Saturday 10/25

There will be curling this Saturday. We should be able to get on to prepare the ice at about 7:15 to 7:30 as there is no hockey directly before our use. So we need to be there to help prepare for the nights game.

Make sure you give your scores to Jojo so he can post the standings. We will need quite a few spares for the night so anyone not on a team roster should be there to get some curling in.

No Curling This Saturday

There will be no curling this Saturday night. This was a scheduled off day when we took the Saturday night time period.

I have been told by Jerry Orlando that November 15^th there is a conflict in the schedule and there will be no curling.

Next curling will be Saturday October 25^th at 7:30. In order for us to get on the ice as quickly as possible there are all the tasks in preparing the ice. Last week it appeared that everyone pitched in to get things going. That was just terrific. We need to keep it up.

Season Opening Tonight

WCC's third season kick off tonight (Saturday) at Vacaville Ice Center.

7:30PM - 10:00 PM

Friendly reminder to new curlers

Please come early to help prefer the ice. Wear loose fitting clothing due to a good deal of stretching and bending involved in the game. For secure footing on the ice, bring shoes with rubber soles, such as walking or running shoes. It also advisable to wear gloves. All equipments are provided by WCC (full and half-foot sliders and of course curling brooms.)

Fall 08 Teams

Would you please forward any desires to curl with other curlers in team formation. If you already have a team formed let me know. Those that would desire to skip also let me know. We want to have teams formed before we curl next week. We should be able to handle all of the special requests for playing partners. I am looking forward to this coming curling season.
